Here, we outline the procedure for submitting online complaints, along with relevant rules, regulations, and internal policies.
Harassment:
Harassment includes any unwelcome conduct, either verbal, physical, visual or written that may violate an individual’s dignity or create an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating or offensive work environment for the employee.
Sexual harassment is a form of harassment and includes any unwelcome sexual advances, request for sexual favours or any other verbal, non-verbal, physical conduct of sexual nature.
Submitting the Complaint:
Any Woman, either an employee or in any other capacity, who has experienced or has been subjected to any act of sexual harassment at the workplace shall be entitled to lodge a formal complaint in writing to the Internal Committee [IC] by sending an email at internalcomplaintscommittee@alpha-sense.com. This complaint shall be submitted within three (3) months of occurrence of act of sexual harassment.

Applicable Laws and Regulations:
In India, we strictly adhere to the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 [PoSH Act], which aims to create a safe and harassment-free workplace for all female employees. This law prohibits any form of sexual harassment and provides a framework for reporting, investigation, and redressal of complaints. It applies to all women, either an employee or in any other capacity, associated, with the company and allows them to file a complaint for sexual harassment.
Internal Policies and Procedures:
Alongside legal requirements, we have established internal policies and procedures to address complaints of sexual harassment, harassment and discrimination effectively. Our dedicated team of professionals, who are a part of the Internal Complaints Committee as well as Disciplinary Committee will handle all complaints with utmost seriousness and sensitivity. Once a complaint is received, it will be thoroughly investigated, ensuring a fair and unbiased approach. The inquiry process may involve gathering additional information, interviewing relevant parties, and taking appropriate actions based on the findings.
Non-Retaliation Policy:
We are committed to protecting employees from any form of retaliation for reporting complaints in good faith. Retaliation against complainants, witnesses, or anyone cooperating in inquiries is strictly prohibited and will be treated as a separate violation of our policy.
